Dr Kalyani Rao is a Global Facilitator for international environmental projects such as the Climate Action Project, Humane Happiness and TeachSDGs, and a Project Facilitator in the 360 degrees programme of Habitat For Humanity India.

Furthermore, Kalyani Rao is the founder of EventsKart, an organisation that fosters global citizenship among young individuals by providing them with unique activities relevant to their academic pursuits, which aim to unveil their hidden talents. She excels in organising international conferences and other initiatives focused on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the youth.

In July 2021, she received an official Honorary Doctorate in Sustainable Development Goals from the International Internship University (IIU) of MOOC technology. This recognition reflects her dedication and accomplishments in leading ongoing projects that address global environmental issues.
